Do you love to have your home smelling good all day? If you do, then you might just love this idea. I always like to find cheap and easy ways to get things done around my home.

Since I found a way to make my bathroom smell good on a budget, I literally couldn’t wait to share with you. Organizing the home is fun but putting some genius touches to the organization is even much more fun.

For this air freshening hack, you’ll need:

1. Bars of Soap: You’ll need a few bars of soap or a lot, depending on the size of your container, how strong the scents are and how much scent you can actually tolerate. There aren’t any hard and fast rules here, it all depends on your personal preferences.
2. Little baskets: You could choose to use baskets or any other containers such as pretty decorative bowls. The idea here is to use something that could serve a decorative purpose.

How to go about it

Unwrap the bars of soap, and put them into your basket, container or bowl. You might want to use a variety of soaps, or not, it all depends on what you want. It also depends on how you would want it to look. For me, I like it looking colorful, so I mix different colors of soap.

Place the basket on a flat surface in your bathroom. It could be on the sink, the shelf or any other surface that suits you. That’s it! Each time you step into your bathroom, you get to smell all that niceness in the air plus you get to look at it as a beautiful decoration. Whenever you need a new bar of soap, simply pick one from the basket and use it. After it finishes, you could always pick another bar. Top up when the basket starts getting empty.

It smells good, it’s decorative and convenient all at the same time. You could do this for any other part of your home but I prefer to do this trick in the bathroom because it has to do with soap. I mean, who wants soap in their living room right?

I love to use handmade organic aromatherapy soaps but you could always use any other soap you wish. It is important to use soaps that smell really nice or else, you’re just gonna have a scentless decoration.
